A picture is worth a thousand words which are captured in our brains, hearts, and thoughts. These words are then translated to impact our feelings and emotions.
My key objective of being a photographer is to expose my view of the environment to the world by taking passionate photos which stress the alluring world in which we live. I discovered my passion for marine environments at the age of four following this at the age of six I had my first encounters with snakes, scorpions, elephants and tigers in South East Asia. Ever since I have studied and explored the most incredible habitats on earth including the ocean and the last few patches of untouched wild natural reserves in Africa i.e. Okavango Delta in Botswana and the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in Uganda.
For the most part my work focuses on wildlife and underwater photography, but also commercial photography becomes a strong hold in my progress of being a photographer with many edges and shapes. Yet wildlife and underwater photography is my passion. These images show the beauty of another dimension, but also offer much more to my viewers. Photography is where I began to find myself and became a point in my life in which I realized how lucky the human kind is to be a part of this wonderful, breathtaking and captivating world.
For me PHOTOGRAPHY is an artistic craft to capture ones current emotional impressions. When strangers feel joy while looking at my pictures, I know I’ve done my job by conveying my innermost feelings to the outside and sharing the momentum of the photograph which is being taken. After viewing my images I hope that you are enabled to understand my passion, my love and my fascination for the earth and embark on a journey of your own appreciation.
